ARUCAD is starting Distance Education on 30th of March
In the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 26 March 2020, the National Ministry of Education and Culture of the TRNC, owing to the COVID-19 outbreak and the extraordinary circumstances in the country, it has been decided continue education in our universities in the form of Digital Education, limited to the Spring Term of 2019-2020 Academic Year.
In this regard, in accordance with Article 5 of the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers, the University Board of Trustees and the Senate of the University, have decided to carry out all theoretical courses for the 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring Semester, the theoretical parts of the mixed courses and the English Preparatory School courses in Digital format. Within this framework, courses which cannot be delivered in digital format and the applied parts of some courses will be completed with a timetabled accelerated programme after the epidemic.
Students without computer and/or internet access and/or students who cannot be contacted will be offered the opportunity to compensate for the courses of that period in an accelerated summer school in the post-epidemic term.
ARUCAD has adequate infrastructural facilities and faculty to carry out this process successfully.
