  • Rebecca Ogun
    Director of English Preparatory School

    Upon receiving her TEFL diploma, Rebecca Ogun did her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio (BFA) with an emphasis in painting and minor in Art History. She received her MFA from Hacettepe University and completed her Master thesis emphasizing ‘women and the culture of Turkey.’
    As she has taught at various private schools throughout Turkey and Cyprus, she has also participated in various group exhibitions in San Antonio, USA, and Ankara, Turkey including a solo exhibition in 2011.

  • Lecturer Seay Uzgöker

    Seay Uzgoker started lecturing at ARUCAD Preparatory School in 2019. When he finished his high school studies at TMK, he went to London and obtained a Higher Diploma in Network Management before returning back to North Cyprus to study for his BA in English Language Teaching.

    After completing his compulsory military service as a translator, he had the opportunity to work in various reputable schools as an English Teacher both locally and abroad in countries such as Kuwait and Turkey. During his early professional life, he went on to study philosophy, which was his prolonged passion, at University of Wales TSD, at postgraduate level.
    Apart from language teaching, educational technologies, and philosophy, his interests lie in a variety of substantial contemporary topics such as psychology, socioeconomic stratification and sustainability, digital finance, and universal communication where he strives to better himself at every opportunity.

  • Lecturer Bediz Karalım

    Bediz Karalım has been a teacher of English since 2013. After graduating from her high school TMK, she went on to receive a BA in Translation and Interpretation at Eastern Mediterranean University. Following her graduation, she became a teacher of English in various private universities in Cyprus. During this time she went on to obtain a certificate in CELTA and Pedagogical Formation. Apart from teaching English, Bediz is also interested in classical music and is an active learner of the Cello.

  • Lecturer Vacide Köse

    Vacide Köse is an English language teacher who has experience teaching young learners and adults. She graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University with B.A. in English Language Teaching, University of Surrey in Translation M.A., and is currently a Ph.D candidate researching Linguistic Landscape.
