Course Programme

OVERVIEW
The English Preparatory School provides courses to prepare students, according to their ability, for the academia world of art. There are four levels of English that are taught at ARUCAD that must be completed within a two-year frame.

MODULE 1
This course is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of the English language and lay a         sound foundation to advance through the four module courses designed to meet the required level of English at the English Preparatory School. It is a fifteen-week module with 24 hours of instruction each week.

MODULE 2
This course is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of the English language and lay a sound foundation to advance through the three-module courses designed to meet the required level of English at the English Preparatory School. It is a fifteen-week module with 24 hours of instruction each week.

MODULE 3
This course is designed to develop English language listening skills. The focus will be on improving active listening skills to facilitate future academic studies and professional career success. Emphasis will be placed on fundamental stages of listening and delivery including the integration and development of audio and visual aids.

MODULE 4
This course has been designed to guide students along a progressive writing process to lead them to become better at academic writing assisting them in their future academic studies and professional careers. Primarily, it introduces students to the basic elements of paragraph structure and different essay types to develop writing skills and strategies to succeed the final proficiency exam.
